"Broken wings" is a series of work that depict wings that build and construct and ironically fragment and distort. Despite their seemingly powerful form and structure, these feathered forms reveal their true natures as they begin to fall apart. The truth being that behind all the facades and feathers, they are all but fragile. Created for "The Wing Assignment", "Wing Asylum" and "Final Flight" exhibitions held across London in 2012 and 2013.
